Rocky The Briard Flies To Georgia!

Since our opening in November, 2005 we have adopted out approximately 125 dogs. All but one are somewhere in the state of Arizona. We received an e-mail from a couple, Joe & Lynn from Lawrenceville, ATLANTA, who were highly interested in our Rocky. Their two children, Scott & Melissa spotted Rocky on the website and told their parents, 'please Mom & Dad, we want him"! Lynn & Joe also fell in love with his picture. They said he looked so much like their beloved Rex, another Briard that recently went to Rainbow Bridge, that they just had to have Rocky! After numerous phone calls and e-mails, they flew into Las Vegas, drove to our center in Kingman, AZ, whereupon it was love at first sight! It was a joy to behold - and it was a "match"! Rocky "pranced" the Briard "prance: all the way to their rented vehicle and left for Las Vegas. (without a backward look, mind you!) They flew home the same night. We phoned Lynn & Joe the next day and all went very well. As you can see by the pictures, he looks loved and content in his new home, new family, and his own best friend!
Congratulations to the Joe, Lynn, Scott & Melissa, and all of us here at Mutt Matchers & Friends will miss him indeed.

Why Mutt Matchers & Friends?

Every year, Mohave County kills between 6000 and 8000 animals.  Why? Because it has no choice.  But now there is a choice, one each of us can make today.

Mutt Matchers & Friends has created an adoption center to rescue adoptable dogs from euthanasia at the county shelter.  We can't save all 8000, but we can save hundreds by placing loving animals in loving homes. Mutt Matchers & Friends Adoption Center is unique. No animals from the public, just the best carefully selected pets from the county shelter. We furnish shots, spay and neutering. We are located at 1001 Buchanan Street in Kingman.
