Mutt Matchers & Friends
Mission Statement - We will speak for those who cannot by rescuing and re-homing shelter dogs from death row and by promoting community programs.
Vision Statement - The comprehensive care we give our rescue dogs and the education we provide to pet owners and the general public will result in a better environment for animals in the greater Kingman area.
Strategic Actions
• Operate a euthanasia-free adoption center that will rescue the most adoptable dogs from death row at local public shelters.
• Screen and evaluate those animals in order to match them with the best homes.
• Screen and evaluate prospective adopters through counseling and assistance to ensure an appropriate match for each animal to each adoptive home.
• Aid in public projects that promote proper care and responsible ownership of all animals.
• Reduce the number of animals euthanized in Mohave County, Arizona through public education and support of spay and neutering programs.
• Promote cooperation and active involvement of public officials and veterinarians in Mutt Matchers & Friends programs.
• Operate community outreach programs such as therapeutic hospice visits and educational programs in local schools.
• Support more stringent laws to punish those found guilty of animal abuse or neglect.
• Raise funds and apply for grants to operate, maintain and expand our facilities to save more animals.

Monthly meetings are held on the fourth Saturday of the month at our center located at 1001 Buchanan. Hope to see you there! Call 718-4DOG for more information. Donations of funds and supplies are always appreciated. Volunteers are always needed and we'd love to find a spot that fits you. There are so many ways to give your time to help the animals!
